Spare tyre in the boot? Flat chance

When you buy a new car in these modern times of ours, it's very likely that it won’t have a spare tyre, so if you suffer a puncture that can’t be repaired with the sealant kit that has been supplied by the vehicle manufacturer, you are massively inconvenienced, to put it mildly.

Often, the only way around this problem is to usually buy and try to fit a space-saver tyre into your boot, so we were interested to see the issue raised in the Sunday Times motoring supplement, Car Clinic this weekend.

RecoverMe's view (as you will read from the article) is that if you have a spare wheel, which many people regard as being an integral part of the car, then if you suffer a flat, or even if your tyre is shredded, then it's an easy fix.

You can read the full Sunday Times article here, Spare tyre in the boot? Flat chance and it's nice to see that some manufacturers are re introducing the emergency tyre after the Sunday Times campaign.
